The Role
Overview
Install and maintain commercial plumbing systems on large-scale construction projects.

Tasks
-Commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as, healthcare, government, educational, manufacturing, data centers and others. -Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site to accurately install systems. -Complies and promotes company Safety Policy -Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids. -Duties could include setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc. -Installation of copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.

What You Bring
-Experience leading / coaching an apprentice and/or helper preferred. -Ability to travel, as needed, for projects. -Must be able to work independently with and without supervision. -Ability to pass a physical ability test -Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials -Must complete company specific welding, soldering and/or brazing test for employment. -1 – 3 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred -Analytical and problem-solving skills -Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening. -Ability to pass MVR check (if applicable) or must have reliable transportation. -Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. -Valid / current journeyman plumbing license preferred. -Excellent communication and customer services skills. -Requires basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills. -Able to work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate the equipment as needed. -OSHA 10 hour preferred. -Medical Gas Certification, or ability to obtain, preferred.
