Lead quality activities on HV substation construction site, ensuring compliance and improvement.

Tasks

-Identify and resolve problems early on and work constructively to build positive customer and supplier relationships. -Inspect completed work and take any necessary corrective actions. -Communicate your messages coherently and clearly and have the assertiveness necessary for this role. -Identify non-conformances ensuring speedy close outs. -Continuous improvement by sharing your knowledge through training and regular coaching. This includes - Regular communication with our project management, the site manager, internal specialist departments, document controllers, and the customer's specialist managers. -Drive continuous improvement by sharing knowledge through training and regular coaching. -Preparing & reviewing Inspection and Test Plans with subject matter experts. -Complete the assigned tasks with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and perseverance, while always adhering to the Linxon Code of Conduct. -Participate in mitigating negative impacts on the project and developing and implementing solutions. -Facilitate testing activities on the construction site in accordance with the project quality plan. -Ensure that the construction site organization and subcontractors adhere to the project and Linxon quality requirements. -Support the project team with customer complaints, reporting them, and developing timely solutions. -Ensure quality-related project activities and services are implemented efficiently by contractors on the construction site, thus meeting the project-specific quality requirements. -Maintain an overview, remain calm, and act in a solution-oriented manner, even in challenging situations.

What You Bring

-Efficient and possess a high degree of technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. -IT skills (MS Office, document management). -Exceptional knowledge of quality assurance and quality control. -Previous experience working with National Grid essential. -ISO 9001 Internal Auditor -Five years of relevant professional experience on HV substation projects and construction sites of varying size, complexity
