Electrical Foreman

Overview

Lead electrical crew, manage projects, safety, and cost for commercial/industrial construction.

Tasks

-Installation of raceways: Cable tray, Wire way and Rigid conduit -Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment. -Review, approve and negotiate change orders -Mentor and help grow craft workers -Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others. -Manage contract administration (subcontract/field management meeting for communication) -Oversee and approve the month job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections -Maintain daily activities for record keeping purposes -Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementary drawings and P&ID’s

What You Bring

-8+ years of commercial and/or industrial construction experience (3+ years in a foreman/leadership capacity) -Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus! -Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills. -Instrumentation and Control wiring and/or tubing. -Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills -Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs., seeing and reading. -OSHA 10/30 Certified; If uncertified, must be obtained prior to start date (training and certification paid for by EGC) -High school diploma or equivalent. -C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods. -Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding procedure and software programs -Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities. -Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
