The Role

Overview

Oversee maintenance operations, repairs, and team for multifamily apartments.

Tasks

-Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy -Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program -Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system -Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority -Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors -Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager -Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC

What You Bring

-CPO certification a plus -Strong HVAC experience, troubleshooting and conversions required -Experience managing 1+ employees -EPA certification required -Experience with light plumbing and electrical work -HVAC experience required -Bilingual skill preferred (English/Spanish speaking) -2+ years’ experience in the maintenance field -1+ year experience within the multi-family housing industry required -High school diploma or equivalent -Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience -Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process) -Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
