Overview

Identify, evaluate, and control occupational health risks in buildings.

Tasks

-Collecting and analyzing building material samples (asbestos, mold, dust, gases, vapors, etc.) -Conducting field assessments to recognize and mitigate occupational health hazards -Coordinating sub-consultants, subcontractors, and internal team members -Achieving and maintaining relevant certifications and licenses -Meeting deadlines and budgets -Utilizing ERP and document management software for project support -Ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to company standards -Preparing clear, accurate, and well-documented technical reports -Performing moisture intrusion assessments and generating moisture maps -Using and maintaining sampling/monitoring equipment

GHP Environmental Architecture - Industrial Hygienist I -(Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree) -2–4 years of progressive experience in Industrial Hygiene -Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work -Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Biology, or related science field -Quality of project documentation and deliverables -Physical ability to visit job sites (including climbing ladders and lifting 20+ lbs.) -Willingness to travel for scheduled and emergency site visits -Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be a U.S. citizen -Client satisfaction and repeat relationships -Strong verbal and written communication skills
