Overview

Install and replace fiberglass/mineral wool insulation in buildings.

Tasks

-Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems. -Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed. -Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements. -Ensures all installations follow guidelines and quality standards. -Installs or sprays insulation in attics. -Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines. -Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations. -Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes. -Transports needed tools and equipment to jobsite. -Loads and unloads insulation materials.

What You Bring

-Construction and Related experience preferred. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Extensive knowledge of insulation materials -Ability to work in confined spaces. -Ability to follow instructions. -Excellent time management skills. -Exceptional earning potential based on individual output and performance. -High school diploma or equivalent preferred. -Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time. -Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation. -Excellent communication skills.
