Overview

Provide HSE advice, training and compliance for FIFO mining site operations.

Tasks

-Foster a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement. -Investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions. -Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE management systems and procedures. -Ensure that all emergency response plans are in place and understood. -Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance. -Provide expert advice on HSE legislation, regulations, and best practices. -Conduct competency assessments and maintain accurate training records. -Develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs to site personnel. -Prepare and present HSE reports and statistics.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to conduct competency assessments. -Valid driver's license. -Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent). -Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. -First Aid and CPR certifications. -Minimum 3 years of experience in an HSE Advisor role, preferably in a FIFO environment. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. -Relevant industry-specific certifications (e.g., ICAM, Root Cause Analysis). -Strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and regulations. -Formal qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Diploma, Degree). -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
