Tasks

-Lead projects from conception through completion, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. -Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Structural, and related, building systems, design standards and building program templates. -Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations. -Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to specifications. -Develop structural designs for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. -Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications prepared by team members. -Attend project meetings and provide technical expertise to address design challenges and propose solutions. -Perform structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to ensure safety and compliance with relevant codes and standards. -Work closely with architectural teams to integrate structural systems seamlessly into building designs. -Support internal development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards for building systems and contribute to clash detection project reviews. -Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of engineering practice.

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural design, project management, and collaboration with architects and other engineers. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Holds Unlimited License in UAE and KSA would be preferred. -Excellent design skills and software skills - 3D design, STAAD‐Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, PROKON, ROBOT, AutoCAD, other related design software. -Degree educated – Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering – Masters is a plus -Ability to use competently the main Structural codes of practice and Building Regulations. -Understand codes and standards along with their applications. -Member of UAE Society Engineers. Registration with home country professional body highly regarded. -Project management experience from design development through construction administration on commercial and/or industrial projects. -Demonstrate proficiency in the design and detailing of structural systems with a clear understanding of the impacts of structural design on adjacent components and systems. -Experience in Office Suite, Bluebeam Revit and Autodesk Suite (Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, AutoCAD -Experience supporting design and detailing within BIM, including support of structural coordination and clash detection on active projects -15+ years of experience
