The Role

Overview

Operate forklift, load/unload trucks, manage inventory in warehouse.

Tasks

-Communicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety requirements for loading/unloading materials -Safely operate a sit down counter balance forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification -Guide truck drivers where they need to go in order to safely loaded/unloaded -Assist with inventory counts as required -Pick and sort stock using a forklift ensuring minimal errors -Identify where product is located in the yard and in the warehouse by utilizing the FIFO system.

What You Bring

-Must be able to read a pick list -2 years forklift experience -Strong work ethic and positive team attitude -Able to work independently as well as part of a team -High school diploma or GED -Previous experience with materials handling & distribution warehouses preferred -Must have valid forklift certification class 1 license -Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills -Must be comfortable working outside in the elements -Must be able to work overtime as necessary, including weekends -Must be able to pass a fit for duty Physical
