Overview

1924
Year Founded

Global Projects Completed
The company has delivered over 6,000 public and private projects worldwide, including roads, airports, and energy facilities.
  • Headquartered in San Antonio and led by the third generation of the founding family, it has grown into a global contractor tackling technically unique challenges.
  • The firm is known for delivering massive heavy-civil works like highways, bridges, dams, airports, and underground utilities.
  • Its portfolio includes iconic projects such as the award-winning High Five Interchange in Dallas, built ahead of schedule using innovative precast techniques.
  • Through subsidiaries like a utility-installation division and a federal construction arm, it serves sectors from government infrastructure to industrial campuses.
  • Oddly, while a division faced bankruptcy over a halted LNG-export terminal in 2024, core operations and other units continued robustly, now rebounding with major heavy-civil contracts.
