Tasks

This is a high-impact role that blends financial oversight, commercial strategy, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll work across teams to optimise resources, manage risk, and support sound decision-making. As our IT Assurance and Commercial Portfolio Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing the financial health and commercial performance of Cadent’s IT portfolio. You’ll oversee budgeting, supplier engagement, and portfolio governance, ensuring investments deliver value and align with strategic priorities. -Strategic Influence – Shape investment decisions and drive commercial value across IT. -Financial Leadership – Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting with precision. -Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with Finance, Commercial, and IT leaders to deliver results. -Portfolio Oversight – Ensure programmes and initiatives stay aligned to funding and benefits. -Continuous Improvement – Refine governance processes and promote financial excellence.

What You Bring

-Strong experience in financial analysis, commercial management, and portfolio oversight. -Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field (Master’s or ACA/ACCA/CIMA desirable). -Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting tools. -Commercial and financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership capability. -Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
