Tasks

-Lead, mentor, and oversee the technical work of team members on complex modeling, engineering design and calculations, technical reports, regulatory permitting (local and state), and public/client presentations -Guide and support the technical and career growth of project team members -Provide leadership and actively participate in relevant professional and civic organizations -Review proposals, budgets, and client agreements to ensure alignment with project goals and company standards -Conduct or supervise technical investigations, including post-flood forensic analysis, FEMA permitting, and regulatory compliance issues -Oversee project managers to ensure effective coordination of project tasks, budgets, and schedules -Participate in the development and refinement of design and production standards. -Prepare responses to client RFQs and solicitations -Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, public agency representatives, and community leaders

What You Bring

-Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in stormwater modeling and/or design, including at least 10 years in managing H&H professionals -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, public officials, and community leaders -Active involvement in professional associations and civic organizations, preferably in a leadership capacity -Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and technical staff -Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation preferred -Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of employment -Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering -P.E. license in Texas held for over 10 years
