Tasks

-Ensure that new software development or code changes conform to GHD standards and integrate effectively with GHD's existing business systems. -Maintain long-term focus on ensuring high-quality and low-maintenance application software is produced at GHD. -Pro-actively look for possible improvements to the Development environment (processes and procedures) and report these to the Team Leader – IS Development with recommendations for addressing them. Work with peers to plan and implement changes to facilitate these improvements. -Contribute to the development of programming standards, procedures and methodologies associated with the development and maintenance of GHD production applications. -Provision of senior technical programming skills in both legacy and current technology environments for the development and enhancement of programming code for GHD production applications. -Provide technical leadership in the ownership and resolution of complex application problems to ensure the availability, integrity, performance and maintainability of GHD’s production application systems.

What You Bring

-Experience in a complex application development, implementation, and support environment, as a programmer for at least 7+ years. -Demonstrated experience in web-based application development using HTML5, Angular and any other similar front-end technology. -JavaScript / TypeScript -Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). -Demonstrated experience in application analysis, design, development, and deployment using C#.NET in both .NET framework and .NET Core. -Ability to provide design and coding leadership, and intelligent problem-solving, in a team environment. -Expertise in relational DBMS technologies such as SQL Server for data storage as well as for performance improvement. -Extensive experience in a complex application development, implementation and support environment, for at least 7+ years. -Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. -Expertise in Azure based cloud technologies for application integration and application deployment. -Demonstrated experience in application analysis, design, development and deployment using the following languages: -Experience in working in an enterprise software development environment with large and/or global professional services organization.
