Process Operator

Overview

Operate wastewater treatment processes, maintenance, compliance and standby duties.

Tasks

-Maintenance tasks – unblocking pumps, screens and valves to ensure continuous plant operation. -Carrying out regular sampling to support process monitoring and compliance. -Receiving and handling deliveries of chemicals, such as ferric sulphate – with full awareness of hazardous material protocols and safety procedures. -Monitoring, collating and reporting of data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance. -Ensuring sampling equipment is maintained, calibrated and functioning correctly. -Repair of alarm systems.
