Tasks

-Verify and recalculate charges, deductions, sales tax and discounts based on client agreements and Avalara tax software -Ensure compliance with local, state and federal billing regulations -Assist with sales tax filings and income reconciliations -Support month end billing process and assist with revenue recognition -Prepare weekly Concur report -Verify and approve freight billings on daily basis -Prepare weekly sales report -Prepare, review and issue accurate invoices including subscription-based services -Partner with sales, customer service and operations to resolve billing discrepancies

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of sales tax in all states -Willingness to learn the collection process -2 years or more of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting -Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is preferred -Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required -Proficiency in Avalara and Concur preferred
