Tasks

Develop detailed design documents from conceptual design through construction documents. -Intern Development Program (IDP) process underway with goal of licensure. -Perform code analysis. -Coordinating with internal and external engineers and consultants. -Assist with specifications development by performing material, product selection and research. -Contribute to project managers in conceptual input on assigned projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the importance of design intent, building codes and project schedules while applying all to both small and large projects in a team atmosphere. Elements for the position include being a self-starter, good communicator and someone that is inquisitive. -Professional Architecture degree from an accredited University is required. -Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. -A design portfolio demonstrating experience will be required. -Skilled in Creative Adobe Suite applications Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. -Knowledge of local code requirements and ability to efficiently interface with agencies having jurisdiction, including Fire Marshall, and other code reviewers. -Competent in Revit (BIM), SketchUp and other software modeling programs. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
