Tasks

-Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Manager -Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Manager -Support training of others to maintain maximum performance -Improve area safety and efficiency through regular auditing and constant scrutiny -Sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 6S activities -Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions -Support efforts to determine root-cause and develop permanent resolution on issues found during product builds and test -Design control systems to coordinate activities to ensure that products meet quality standards -Review upcoming test requests/schedule with the Production Manager on a periodic basis -Work with Engineering to write the test procedure -Provide support to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill -Interface with Manufacturing Engineers and Design Engineering to ensure the correct testing methods are used

What You Bring

-5+ years' working in a manufacturing environment -Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite -Ability to exert moderate physical effort, typically involving, some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds) -Bachelor's degree but not required; a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience -High School degree or general education degree (GED)
