Tasks

-Support contractor management and compliance verification. -Ensure adherence to WHS Act & Regulations, Codes of Practice, and project-specific safety requirements. -Maintain safety documentation, SWMS, permits, and registers. -Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions. -Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. -Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments. -Liaise with project teams to provide practical safety advice and support. -Promote a proactive safety culture aligned with company values. -Support day-to-day WHS activities across ITS and construction sites.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and quality systems. -Good communication and documentation skills. -Strong understanding of NSW WHS legislation. -Able to Multi-task -Ability to build rapport with field teams and influence safe behaviours. -Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum). -Full driver licence and ability to travel to multiple sites. -Experience working on TfNSW, ITS, civil construction, telecommunications, or road infrastructure projects. -Previous experience in construction, civil, or ITS projects. -First Aid, White Card certifications (MUST, Traffic Control knowledge (not essential)
