Tasks

-Ensures that budgets have been developed to provide for Quality Control Management through the life of the project -Facilitate roadblock avoidance and resolution -Select staff development including coaching and mentoring, and goal setting in conjunction with group leadership -Participate in interviewing of professional staff as needed -Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring overall satisfaction. -Communicate with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other disciplines to ensure effective project coordination -Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, goals, and expectations, tailoring project deliverables accordingly. -Foster a culture of client service, both externally and internally -Assist in preparing project presentations. May participate and/or lead client presentations. -Encourage staff exploration and innovation to achieve project design excellence and continual improvement -Help to effectively deal with personnel issues within the group in conjunction with Human Resources and group leadership -Continuously monitor project teams. Motivate employees and facilitate open dialogue and feedback -Develop and maintains positive relationships with consultants and clients -Help to manage project AR -Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with Group Leadership -Ensure project profitability including the meeting of multiplier goals, work plans and schedule -Effectively communicate project timelines, deliverables, and potential challenges to clients in a clear and concise manner. -Monitor construction administration during the construction phase -Management of project AR -Responsible for managing project financials and completing work plan including identification of project team members, budget, consultants, schedule for completion, fees and costs as well as project change notices or other actions taking place on the assigned project -Assist group management in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget, and scope of services during the marketing and contract development process -Listen for and seek out new projects which may exist or are being formulated -Assist with leadership and development of architecture projects -Progress of project specific staff development -Facilitate coordination between project staff and subconsultants on multi-discipline projects -Performance assessment for select staff including performance reviews in conjunction with Production Director -Identify new business opportunities while developing current client relationships. -Plan, organize and manage projects. Provide on-going communication through team meetings/minutes/up-date memos to project team and group leadership -Participate in select marketing and business development opportunities. -Management of work including coordination of select projects as well as prioritization and scheduling of projects and staff in conjunction with Production Director -Consistently provide complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and project team.

What You Bring

-LEED accreditation strongly encouraged. -Ability to deliver quality service in an effort to create repeat clients -Profitability of projects and control of claims -Strong knowledge of subconsultant services required on building projects including but not limited to MEP, Code consulting, kitchen specialists, acoustics specialists, cost estimators) -Professional Architectural License with current registration in region(s) preferred. -Available for occasional travel, approximately a few days per month, to fulfill project requirements and attend conferences. -Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to be articulate and convincing in interviews and other presentations -Aid in project specific, technical problem solving -Experience with government regulations, such as: UFC, AT/FP -Proficiency in Revit preferred. -Proven project management abilities to ensure on time and on budget delivery along with maximizing profitability -Proficiency in Deltek Vision preferred. -Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness. -A minimum of 8 years in the Architectural design business (management, engineering, administration) with significant project experience in multidiscipline projects. Former experience working on federally regulated projects is preferred.
