Overview

Design and draft PV/BESS layouts, optimize solar strings, and support renewable projects.

Tasks

-Support plan set development and layout adjustments while maintaining EVS standards -Work on renewable energy projects that make an impact -Revise drawings based on redline markups with accuracy and attention to detail -Participate in training sessions, workshops, and project reviews to continuously improve -Collaborate with senior engineers to support active projects and contribute to solutions -Perform peer reviews and double-check work to ensure drafting accuracy -Utilize PV Case and SAM for solar string sizing and layout optimization -Translate project requirements, site constraints, and PV/BESS equipment layouts into clear CAD drawings

What You Bring

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities -Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel (or strong willingness to learn) -Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to grow professionally -Point-Based Recognition -Understanding of basic engineering principles related to PV/BESS layout and electrical design -Exposure to PV Case, SAM, or Bluebeam (preferred but not required) -0–2 years of experience in drafting, design, or PV/BESS engineering support -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering, or related field -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
