Overview

Process billing, payments and resolve customer inquiries for utility revenue services.

Tasks

-May answer inquiries and resolve problems. -Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, data corrections/workfiles and/or troubleshooting. -Analyzes all available data and resources to take action and correct or resolve routine situations. -Maintain composure in demanding and difficult situations. -Accepts and resolves routine issues from other sources. -May respond to internal or external customer inquiries. -Coordinates with other groups/departments to resolve issues to meet customer expectations.

What You Bring

-At least one year of Customer Service experience. -Demonstrate problem solving skills. -Virtual - Work will be performed from a remote location after the onboarding period. However, virtual employees should live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility. -Performing similar or lesser skilled work. -Multi-task oriented with the ability to work efficiently in stressful situations. -Ability to use good time management skills to fulfill tasks. -Interacts well with both internal and external customers. -Requires ability to navigate computerized data entry systems or other relevant applications. -Ability to process analytical problems and initiate appropriate actions to support safety, first contact resolution and customer satisfaction. -Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). -Ability to adapt well to process and Technology changes. -Demonstrates effective communication skills (both oral and written). -Requires knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services. -Ability to actively listen while entering detailed customer information. -High School Education or Equivalent. -Ability to work together as a team and support Revenue Services initiatives. -Ability to read instructions/documents and comprehend the context then execute the details.

-The pay rate is $20.50 per hour (non-negotiable)
