Tasks
-Drive personal , company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. -Provide quality control of construction documents. -Assisting and Training Early and Mid-Career professionals in condition assessments and repair/retrofit design. -Structural Team Leader for Inspections; -Structural Condition Assessments; -Structural value engineering, third party design and constructability review, and risk assessment.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of relevant structural engineering design and detailing software (AASHTOWare, RISA, ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, SAFE, GSA, etc.) (required) -Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural). (preferred) -Bridge Load Rating -Minimum 2 years experience serving as a team leader or primary structural inspector (required) -Professional registration as a Structural Engineer (S.E.) (preferred) -Knowledge of design collaboration software (Bluebeam Studio), and operation of CAD/VDC/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). (preferred) -Successful completion of the FHWA-NHI-130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course (preferred) -Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position. -Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). (preferred) -Current OSHA 10-hr training. (preferred) -The ability to sit for the NCEES 20-Hour Structural Engineering exam within two years of hire. (preferred) -Experience working within the construction sector or performing design work for contractors/construction managers. (preferred) -Experience in the inspection of concrete, timber, and steel structures. (required) -Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, and meeting strict deadlines. (required) -Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) -Experience in repair/retrofit design of concrete, steel, and timber structures. (required) -At least 5 years (7+ preferred) directly relevant experience in a design environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) -Bridge Load Rating experience (preferred) -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering focus. (required) -Registered Bridge Inspection Team Leader (preferred)
