Tasks

-Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives. -Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. -Contributing to identifying project pipelines and conducting technical needs assessments. Assists in designing calls for proposals and selection processes. -Leading the continuous improvement of technical estimation support for local and regional projects, under the guidance of the Estimation Manager and Local Division Manager (ELSE). -Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization -Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization. -Ensuring consistent and effective management of the regional/local technical support portfolio, in alignment with ABB best practices and policies. -Validating and supporting the implementation of adequate HSE measures in project operations. Promotes and sustains a strong HSE culture within the organization.

What You Bring

-skilled in conflict management and handling escalations. -Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP systems. -Ability to assess and understand customer financial behavior and status. -5+ years of industry experience in a relevant technical role. -You hold current Driving licenses valid in UAE. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering -You are at ease communicating in English -Solid commercial understanding relevant to project estimation and execution -Degree in electrical engineering
