Tasks

-Are seeking to mentor entry level architects, directing them in design, production and overall coordination of the design process and technical documents. -Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations. -Attend project and client meetings with other design professionals for projects under contract. -Become the trusted advisor to our established public safety clients and supplement our sales team in the development and securing of new project work. -Attend Interviews, assist in proposal creation, and manage client expectations.

What You Bring

-Have a 4- or 5-year degree in Architecture, or a related field. -Have a comprehensive understanding of architectural specifications, international building codes, life safety code and ADA requirements. -Have 6 -14 years of working experience in a design firm with strong design, construction document and construction administration experience, 5 plus years’ experience in Fire and/or Police stations. -Love to execute project development from concept through construction while working with other committed design professionals. -Are self-motivated and can solve problems independently, often working remotely. -Have knowledge of design and construction programs like Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, SketchUp, Etc. -Have a proven record of strong technical design and detailing skills.
