Tasks
❖ Conduct facility condition surveys. ❖ Prepare (design) temporary and permanent repair schemes for critical deficiencies identified during inspections. ❖ Perform in-depth inspection of facilities for the development of design and contract documents. ❖ Prepare inspection reports completely for final review by project manager. ❖ Prepare and review design computations, plan designs, and drawings under minimal supervision. Gedeon GRC is looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our firm. The Bridge engineer is responsible and accountable for designing bridge projects and overseeing the construction, inspection, and repair of bridges and related structures. They work in conjunction with planners, construction managers, inspectors, local officials, and other parties to ensure the project meets all safety standards while also accommodating deadlines, budget guidelines, and other considerations. This person would design structural plans, coordinate changes, and provide expert guidance throughout the building process. ❖ Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects. ❖ Perform bridge inspections, write, and review inspection reports, and train other bridge inspectors. ❖ Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints for use in bridge inspections. ❖ Conduct research and preparation of reports and presenting findings and results to clients. ❖ Inspect bridges as required for structural integrity, general safety and continued conformance to specifications and codes.

What You Bring
❖ 5 year's of experience related to the A/E/C industry. ❖ Strong technical written and verbal communications skills with an ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts. ❖ EIT/FE is required, Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, SECB a plus, ASCE, SE I or SE II, OSHA Certified. ❖ Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Civil Engineering. ❖ Demonstrated careful attention to detail. ❖ Advanced expertise in bridge engineering, design, and inspection. ❖ Computer software skills, specifically in the area of Microsoft Office, AASHTOWare, BrR, Mathcad, LARSA 4D, LUSAS, RISA-3D, Merlin-DASH, LEAP Bridge Concrete, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, CSI Bridge, MicroStation or similar software. ❖ Ability to climb ladders, and work at heights using various bridge inspection access equipment.

Benefits
$96,000 - $125,000 annually. Pay commensurate with experience.
