Tasks
-Participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues and solutions to others -Assist with managing bridge inspection projects including coordination with clients and inspection teams, performing field and office quality control, and performing bridge inspections -Performs calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software -Create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various structures -Assist other offices with bridge inspection, rehabilitation, and load rating tasks -Performs bridge design, rehabilitation and load rating tasks on assigned bridge projects

What You Bring
-Ability to climb ladders, walk on uneven slopes, and work at heights -Four or more years bridge engineering, bridges inspection or related/combined experience. -Ability to travel in/out of office periodically (15-30%) -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree a plus. -Thorough understanding of codes, legal, design, and inspection requirements in relevant jurisdictions -Ability to operate mechanical access equipment (snooper, manlift, platform truck, etc.) -Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office and AssetWise (or equivalent) -Completed 2-week NHI Course No. 130055, or the 5-day NHI Course No. 130056 -Successful completion of NHI Course No. 130078 a plus. -Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. -Professional Engineer license(s) or ability to obtain within 1 year. -Knowledge of relevant design software (BrR, MDX, LEAP, CSI Bridge, etc.) -Experience with rope access/climbing inspection methods a plus.
