Operate <60t cranes for platform lifts and boat operations on the Bayu Undan Project.

Tasks

As a Crane Operator you will ensure all platform lifts and boat operations are completed in a safe manner and in line with the Crane Operators Competence systems, and to the satisfaction of the company/client. -Perform parking and shutdown duties as per site requirements -Operate cranes to the specific requirements of the manufacturer’s recommendations -Check the weight and size of the load to be lifted; ensure crane is working within recommended load radius -Maintain cranes in a clean, tidy and where applicable, watertight condition, including cabs, machinery housings and external surfaces -Assist maintenance personnel in routine maintenance and repair activities and general deck duties. -Complete routine first line maintenance duties including but limited to greasing, lubrication and machinery maintenance in accordance with relevant manufactures recommendations -Carry out daily routine checks on the crane in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance procedures and site-specific prestart checklist

What You Bring

-Good analytical and organisational skills -Excellent experience on our facility -Efficiently work independently and within a team. -Competent in performing crane maintenance to manufacturer’s and Australian standards -Current T/BOSIET -Be proactive and value-orientated -Platform lifts, load and unloading of supply boats -Offshore Crane Operation certificate -Demonstrated initiative in fast paced work environment -Proven knowledge of lifting and rigging regulations and statutory requirements -Certificate of Competency in Dogging -Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, construction and/or maintenance industry -Appropriate crane qualification for workscope -Heli Landing Officer certificate (desirable). -Effective communication and interpersonal skills
