Overview

Provide high-quality cost estimates for infrastructure projects across design and execution phases

Tasks

-Working closely with clients and stakeholders in line with governance standards -Supporting investment decisions through clear, consistent estimating processes -Preparing cost models and reports during both design and execution phases -Delivering high-quality cost estimates aligned to project scope and timescales -Validating supplier and contractor estimates to ensure commercial accuracy -Contributing to business cases, budget planning and cost reconciliation activities

What You Bring

Currie & Brown is expanding its infrastructure portfolio and looking for experienced Estimators to join our growing team in either London, Birmingham or Manchester. We’re working on major commissions across the rail, highways, aviation, energy, utilities sectors, and we want passionate, capable professionals who are ready to make a real impact. Estimators (All Levels) - Infrastructure – London, Birmingham or Manchester (with hybrid working) -Clear communicator, team player, and confident working with client stakeholders -Background in quantity surveying, estimating, or related disciplines (BSc or equivalent) -Pre-contract estimating expertise, ideally across multiple stages of design -Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project financials -Working knowledge of cost planning tools and benchmarking techniques -Experience in infrastructure sector essential -Cost Intelligence and benchmarking. -RICS membership (or working towards it) is a plus
