Senior Project Planner

Plan and manage schedules for major construction projects, supporting sales and execution.

Tasks

-Regular feedback through performance discussions. -Bridge potential misalignment between KONE Supply Line and Front Line by actively checking project schedules and identifying and suggesting corrective actions and scheduling opportunities. -Maintain accurate records of schedule development throughout the lifetime of the project. -Design, construct and maintain cost and resource-loaded schedules for projects in execution and proactively highlights resource and time challenges in meeting schedule requirements. -Assist Project Managers in the development and maintenance of existing schedules performing critical path, acceleration, and gap analysis as required. -Contribute to the development of planning processes and best practices and assists with their implementation and guides; support and train project teams in their application. -Engaging job with position description and clear targets. -Assist in project performance analysis and forecasting based on Critical Path and Earned Value. -Support sales function by creating project schedules and related support material for use in KONE estimates and proposals. -Assist in project risk and opportunity analysis. -Interact directly with customers to clearly understand overall project requirements and milestones in order to integrate construction master schedules with those specific to KONE scope. -Provide support to Project Teams and management in relation to EOT claims, delay analysis, and Cause and Effect’ scheduling. -Ensure bespoke customer reports and contractual planning obligations are understood and fulfilled.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in the construction industry or other relevant fields. -Good knowledge of cost planning and contract study. -Proven experience in construction project planning. -Ability to collaborate, multitask and handle changing projects requirements. -Excellent presentation & analytical skills. -5 years experience using MS Project/Primavera planning tool P6 version 20+. -Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills. -Bachelor degree in Engineering.
