General Technician (Blending and Polishing )

Perform blending, polishing, drilling, and operate test equipment for gas turbine repairs.

Tasks

-Perform blending and polishing on metal and coating surfaces -Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions -Perform manual drilling in the cooling hole re-opening process -Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules -Operate machines such as robotic polisher, shot peening and cold spraying -Operate test equipment such as airflow, waterflow and moment weighing

What You Bring

-Completed Secondary level or higher education. Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. -Basic command of English (speak and read) -Able to perform rotating shift work -Experienced in using pneumatic/powered hand tools -2 years of working experience in the related field preferred. Candidates without relevant experience may be considered.
