Overview

Perform field surveys, operate equipment, and assist in data reporting for environmental projects.

Tasks

-Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during fieldwork -Assist in the setup and calibration of survey instruments -Conduct field surveys to collect data on land features, boundaries, and topography -Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations, GPS units, and levels -Ensure compliance with survey standards and project specifications -Record and document survey data accurately and efficiently -Communicate findings and observations to the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor -Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and drawings

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel -Ability to travel as needed for fieldwork -Previous engineering co-op or related experience is a plus -Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree in Surveying or a related field
