Tasks

-Coordinate with project managers, providing updates and addressing any project-related issues. -Follow GDOT’s SUE Deliverable Checklist to ensure compliance with regulatory and project standards. -Process raw survey data from multiple sources into CAD-compatible formats. -Conduct rigorous QA/QC checks on CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications. -Develop detailed and accurate SUE CAD plans in alignment with GDOT’s Plan Development Process (PDP) and Electronic Data Guidelines (EDG). -Identify opportunities for improvement within CAD workflows, proposing methods to enhance efficiency. -Assist in other related tasks as needed to support project goals and client needs. -Work closely with the SUE Project Manager to meet project goals, timelines, and deliverables. -Collaborate with field crews to verify utility locations and resolve discrepancies in data.

What You Bring

-Comprehensive understanding of utility systems, layout, and geospatial configurations. -High school diploma or GED. -Experience with GDOT projects is highly preferred. -Minimum 2 years of experience as a SUE CAD Technician. -Strong ability to read and interpret maps and technical drawings. -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. -Ability to interpret and transpose utility records and as-built drawing. -Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other relevant software. -Strong verbal and written communication skills
