What You Bring

-Participants must be able to commit to the entire program without any missed time. -High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. -To continue with employment as a Nurse Aide (upon completion of the program), the state board exam will need to be passed within 120 days of employment to become licensed as a Certified Nurse Aide in the Commonwealth of Virginia (up to 3 attempts for passing the exam are provided). -Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the basics of the English language in order to understand and carry out oral and written assignments. -Ability to interact tactfully with residents, patients, families, and the general public in a positive, professional, and customer-first manner.
