The Role

Overview

Install and maintain buried telecom drops, trenches, and cable systems on construction sites.

Tasks

-Responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks -Work in outdoor utility construction sites -Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site each day -Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems -Learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment -Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field

What You Bring

-Prior experience as an installer technician is a plus -You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality -You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work -You have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. -Previous history working in the telecommunications industry -Must be able to operate a drop bury vibratory plow to place buried drops
