Tasks

-Plan and develop operations policies and strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. -Deepen your engineering skillsets to maintain our world-class grid performance with our in-house electrical certifications -Carry out operations on the electricity network, including testing and commissioning new equipment and circuits up to 22kV. -Certify various claims including overtime, transport, driving allowances, vehicle time sheets, vouchers, work orders, completion certificates, bills, and goods receipt notes with accuracy. -Perform standby duty after office hours to handle any urgent matters that may arise. -Lead and manage a team of officers in implementing distribution departmental and network reinforcement projects to ensure consumer demand and network security are met efficiently. -Perform meticulous site management and oversee contractors' work to guarantee project success. -Conduct thorough risk assessments for all project works carried out and develop comprehensive safe work procedures to mitigate potential hazards. -Supervise contractors’ work diligently, ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with ISO Quality Procedures and Operating Instructions, safe work procedures, good engineering practices, and that cables/equipment installed comply with specifications. Ensure proper management of the project budget. -Attend to customers’ issue and feedback promptly, providing effective solutions to maintain customer satisfaction. -Lead and actively participate in study teams, task forces, or committees to contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations. -Conduct Polarisation and Depolarisation Current (PDC) testing to assess the condition of HT cable. -Manage term and turnkey contracts effectively and monitor outstanding claim submissions to ensure timely processing. -You will contribute to the success of upholding our world-class network reliability and drive sustainability

What You Bring

-Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore -Good oral and written communication skills -At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience -A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
