Handover Manager

Overview

Oversee handover, docs, stakeholder coordination & defect resolution for UAE rail projects.

Tasks

-Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, coordinators, and customer service. -Develop and implement comprehensive handover strategies aligned with project timelines. -Ensure all project documentation (as-built drawings, warranties, manuals) is complete and compliant. -Oversee snagging inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects. -Monitor defect liability periods and coordinate with contractors for follow-ups. -Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies to meet local handover requirements. -Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and client teams to ensure readiness for handover. -Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in handover management. -Manage expectations and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction. -Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the handover phase. -Ensuring that all existing employees, potential employees, colleagues, and customers are treated equally and with respect.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in project management tools and document control systems. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field. -Experience working in UAE / Middle East region. -Having clear and concise procedures and guidelines for both line managers and employees to ensure policies are fully understood and implemented. -Minimum 15+ years of experience in the profession specifically on Rail projects. -Complying with the relevant employment legislation and codes of practice. -Proven track record in managing handovers of large-scale projects in the UAE. -Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and handover regulations. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. -PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
