Tasks

-Lead and oversee complex public health and fire protection engineering projects from conception to completion -Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for various facilities and infrastructure -Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development -Design and evaluate fire protection systems and public health measures for new and existing buildings -Provide expert consultation on emergency response planning and disaster preparedness -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes and regulations -Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in public health and fire protection engineering -Represent the organization in industry forums and professional associations -Contribute to the development of company policies and best practices in public health and fire safety

-Relevant certifications in fire safety and public health (e.g., Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified in Public Health) -Experience with risk assessment methodologies and emergency response planning -Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers -Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams -Professional Engineering (PE) license -Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design, modeling, and analysis -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities -Expertise in building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to public health and fire safety -Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health and fire protection engineering, with a proven track record of successful project completion -Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment -Advanced knowledge of public health principles and fire protection engineering practices -Outstanding written and verbal communication skills -Willingness to travel as required for project sites and professional development -Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Public Health, Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related field
