Timely Inputting of Orders onto Aureos ERP System (COINS)

Placing Orders on Suppliers

• overseen approvals for new suppliers
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
• Ensure that orders are sent to suppliers
• Ensure confirmation of receipt and delivery dates
• Ensure that the procurement process operates in line with Group Procurement Processes and Procedures
• Source and procure goods related to Energy market including electrical components
• Work closely with Finance Department and resolve any invoice related issues to allow smooth P2P process.
• Provide efficient and timely procurement of materials in line with the overall business strategy.
• Work closely with project teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.

Requirements

As a Procurement Coordinator you will have very good administration, communication and interpersonal skills. This role involves sourcing and procuring of electrical components and construction materials for various projects for a business that is strongly involved in the UK DNO (Distribution Network Operator) sector.

The ideal candidate will experience of some or all of the following;

• Familiarity with procurement software and tools
• Familiar with IT Systems
• Previous experience in a similar administration roll
• Experience in procuring materials related to civils and/or the Energy industry
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and analytical skill
• Proven experience as a procurement coordinator
• have an understanding of goods related to the Energy business
• Knowledge of the Energy industry
• Very good administration, communication, and interpersonal skills
• knowledge of the construction market
