What You Bring

-Well-developed IT skills. -Experience with Smart Simple and other grant management systems. -A minimum of five years’ directly relevant experience working in grant programme governance and finance management, grant administration with a strong focus on governance and finance, or a finance function with significant focus on grants management and compliance. -Proven expertise/knowledge in internal controls and governance. -Excellent understanding of research funding environment at national and international scale. -Knowledge/ Experience of working in the Public Sector. -Experience working in a multi-disciplinary managing projects involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. -Experience of team management and staff development -Experience or knowledge of delivering positive customer experiences. -Experience of change management -Fully accredited professional qualification in Accountancy. -Experience of ensuring compliance to financial controls and procedures. -Previous experience of full life cycle management of grant funding schemes -A degree (Level 7 on NFQ or greater) or equivalent professional qualification in Business or Finance or a relevant discipline. -Successful track record in delivering programmes analysis in a similar environment.
