The Role

Overview

Supervises commercial plumbing crews, installs systems, manages schedules and safety.

Tasks

-Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned tradesman. -Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, and job orders as needed for area of work. -Order material, equipment and tools as needed to maintain efficient use of labor. -The Plumbing Foreman will supervise and coordinate activities of a work crew engaged in the installation of plumbing products and equipment. -Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned. -Rate information using measurable standards. -Study schedules and estimate man-hour requirements for completion of Analyze and resolve work problems and maintain time. Miscellaneous Reports, two week planners, labor tracking weekly report, safety reporting, tool box talks and weekly job site. -Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety. -Direct installation of assemblies at job. -Visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints.

What You Bring

-Understand shop math, work skillfully with tools, metals, and machines. -This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury. -Good communication and organizational skills. -Minimum of five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience. -Completion of apprenticeship program and appropriate journeyman. -Ability to work with Planning Calendars. -Med Gas current Certification a plus. -Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
