Tasks

To manage and oversee all HVAC-related engineering, installation, and commissioning activities within construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, UAE authority regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. -Provide weekly progress reports, highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions. -Plan and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines. -Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors. -Review HVAC designs, shop drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs to ensure alignment with project requirements. -Ensure compliance with local authority requirements such as Dubai Municipality, ADDC/Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, and relevant environmental regulations. -Prepare and maintain method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and daily site reports.Ensure complete documentation for testing, commissioning, air balancing, and final handover. -Ensure HVAC design and installation meet international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW144, Dubai Green Building Regulations).Coordinate with consultants and main contractors for approvals, inspections, and design clarifications. -Coordinate with authorities for inspections, approvals, and final NOCs. -Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company safety regulations. -Lead and supervise all HVAC installations, testing, and commissioning activities on-site. -Ensure timely execution of HVAC works in coordination with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. -Resolve technical issues and propose practical, cost-effective engineering solutions. -Coordinate HVAC works with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and civil teams to ensure smooth integration and avoid clashes. -Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, ducting, exhaust systems, VRF/VRV systems, and chilled water networks. -Review heat load calculations, static pressure calculations, ESP/TSP calculations, and equipment selections. -Ensure implementation of quality control procedures related to HVAC installations.Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications. -Prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals in coordination with project teams.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, cooling load calculations, and international HVAC standards.Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use projects. -Proficient in AutoCAD, HAP, Duct Sizer, and MS Office. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. -7–10 years of HVAC engineering experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE construction industry.
