Commercial Intern supporting global supplier, pricing, and contract tasks at Hatch.

Tasks
-Participate in developing estimating tools for different technologies -Coordinating the project on detailed assessment and selection of tools for Contract Lifecycle Management to support Hatch commercial needs -Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions -Assist team by updating supplier lists by approved, preferred and dropped suppliers. -Participate in local lunch and learns, Toastmasters, the Student Showcase and more to develop your skills -Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally -Join in charitable, social, and sports activities with other Hatch employees -Create and populate Historical Proposal Directory on Internal SharePoint -Maintain User Agreements by identifying missing/elapsed/outdated agreements -Using current databases, search and identify potential suppliers for different technologies in different geographical regions (based on business input) -Update Pricing/Proposal files -Improve their technical communication and report writing skills.

What You Bring
-Familiarize self with pricing tools and utilize them to: -Excel academically while being actively involved in extra-curricular and/or volunteer activities at school or in the community -Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects -Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail -Experience in market research and basic understanding of commercial terms would be an asset. -Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Excel. -Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills -Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges -Have demonstrated technical aptitude -Possess good communication and interpersonal skills; -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Have an aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams; -Must currently be enrolled in either Business or Engineering program, -Has a strong sense of health and safety
