Tasks

This role will be an interface between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs and objectives are well understood and deliver business application solutions that are user-centric, aligned to ESP standards and architectures, and scalable to support the growth of the business. The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design, and support delivery activities. They will contribute to the development of a robust Business Systems ecosystem and its integration with the wider utilities industry. They will support the business in investigating problems and identifying appropriate solutions The Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising ESP’s use of Business Applications, including the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and supporting business transformation across commercial, operational, and customer-facing functions. -Work with technical and business teams to investigate and resolve functional problems and ensure the timely resolution of systems issues -Facilitate service readiness activities and oversee the introduction of new systems and services into the business -Collaborate with the wider Business Systems team, technical teams and third-party providers to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, sustainable and meet ESP business requirements and standards -Contribute to data migration, cleansing, and integration planning from legacy systems into Dynamics -Contribute to the planning, sourcing and selection of third-party providers for new solution development -Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution -Coordinate with Business Change to facilitate user adoption of new solutions including the provision of training and functional support -Maintain user and system documentation including process flows, configuration logs, functional integrations and training materials -Analyse, map and maintain current and future ESP business processes executed across the ESP Applications Portfolio, including Dynamics CRM -Lead business workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather and document business and system requirements, both functional and non-functional -Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements and persona-based user stories for Dynamics 365 and other systems as needed -Lead continuous improvement initiatives, addressing opportunities to optimise business processes in Dynamics and the systems it interacts with.

What You Bring

-Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences -Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping and functional documentation -Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) -Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Strong understanding of CRM functions, processes, data structures -Experience within a Business Systems Analyst role (or similar) working with business applications such as Microsoft Dynamics -An understanding of asset management processes and UK utilities industry data flows for Gas and Electricity, would be an advantage
