Tasks

-Develop complex and dynamic numerical models of engineering and commercial aspects of energy project feasibility -Provide Industry thought leadership and representing the ECS Team at Industry events. -Participate in marketing campaigns and events -Support the development of collateral, case studies and other sales materials -Providing thought leadership on behalf of EQUANS to our clients and represent EQUANS at events -Proactively building client relationships to maintain a strong repeatable pipeline -Communicate with all stakeholders to brief on submissions as they progress -Support in delivering profitability and revenue delivery targets for each engagement through proactive time management and efficiency in delivery -Working with commercial and finance teams to develop profitable and compelling outcomes -Delivering technical reports and energy audits as part of the solution development process -Actively maintain a strong knowledge on EQUANS, industry, client, sector and competitor trends -Supporting effective team and project management, including project completion timelines, project costs and profitability, and ensuring client needs are met -Articulate the key risks and benefits of the opportunity to key stakeholders -Supporting in the training of new starters within ECS -Providing subject matter expertise and continuity of support to the energy and carbon solution projects that are handed over to the divisional projects team -Ensure compliance with EQUANS quality assurance processes including peer and management review -Undertaking energy audit activities, development, engineering, and conceptual design of energy projects -Work with a variety of internal teams (Sustainable FM, Digital & Energy Services, Places & Communities) to research and analyse prospective opportunities, markets, and propositions

What You Bring

-Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and matrix management organisations on major projects and programmes -Chartered Energy Engineer/Manager or on track and with ambition to achieve knowledge of some of the regulatory environment in which Equans customers are working (including CCA, GRI, CDP, SBTi, CCL, ESOS, UK ETS, SECR etc). -Capacity to mobilise and engage people, capacity to develop and leverage your network -Demonstrated technical and commercial modelling depth in two or more disciplines: -energy management and retrofit, industrial energy management -Confident and articulate in presenting technical and commercial cases to customers at management/decision maker level -Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines -Problem resolution and critical thinking skills -Self-motivated, resourceful, able to work, succeed and maintain energy without constant direction and guidance -Energy related engineering or applied science degree -Compliance with EQUANS governance processes -Experience of presenting to organisations and individuals, both orally and in writing, information and complex technical issues and potential solutions in a clear and concise manner -Track record of successfully implementing innovation in products or services -Experience of and strong interest in contributing to sales proposals and marketing plans -energy driven BMS, controls and analytics -Excellent understanding of the energy, climate change and/or the sustainability sector -Technical knowledge of implementing energy solutions, and a firm understanding of building, commercial or industrial and manufacturing engineering services -Masters degree in an energy related engineering
