Overview
Coordinate safety and accident prevention programs on industrial construction sites.

Tasks
Indirectly manages subcontractor safety personnel. -Responsible for conducting orientation and jobsite specific training. -Reinforce that team members on the project site are in compliance with the safety requirements of the company. -Assist Site Manager in administrative counseling to team members and subcontractors who are in non-compliance with safety requirements. -Ensure that work areas are maintained in a neat, safe and orderly fashion. -Ensure that appropriate safety records are maintained. -Investigate cause of an incident and complete reports as required. -Hold safety meetings/jobsite review as part of coordination meetings. -Enforce the use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations. -Responsible for conducting daily safety meetings. -Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.

What You Bring
While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, reach, and talk or hear. They are regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision. -Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs. -Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. -Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred. -Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. -Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
