Tasks

-Foster a proactive safety culture across all project sites. -Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to environmental and safety laws. -Conduct detailed risk assessments for hazardous operations, including chemical handling, pipeline installation, and confined space activities. -Provide transparent reporting on safety risks and compliance status. -Oversee HSE planning and execution across all phases of construction, including hazardous material handling, cross-country pipeline works, and high-risk activities. -Establish and enforce safety protocols for EPC contractors and subcontractors. -Collaborate with internal teams, EPC partners, and external agencies to align HSE objectives with project goals. -Report safety performance metrics to senior management and the Board. -Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions. -Develop and implement comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies for fast-track construction projects. -Develop contingency plans and emergency response procedures for critical scenarios. -Lead HSE training programs for project teams, contractors, and stakeholders. -Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and inspections. -Ensure compliance with international and local safety standards, codes, and regulations.

What You Bring

-Experience in EPC environments and multi-disciplinary projects. -Minimum 20 years of extensive experience in HSE management for large-scale, fast-track construction projects. -Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling, pipeline construction, and industrial safety standards. -Proven track record in managing safety for hazardous operations and cross-country pipeline works. -Professional certifications in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent). -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental) or equivalent.
