Overview

Fabricate and assemble mounting hangers and embed devices for precast panels.

Tasks

-Cut threaded rod for lifter bolts -Fix possible hardware errors on the tables -Maintain a clean work area, organized and clear of any tripping hazards -Deliver hangers/holders with embeds attached to the table where the precast panel will be cast Ensure all pallets delivered to the tables are clearly marked -Fabricate hangers/holders for all embeds to ensure they can be placed/held in the proper locations in or over the mold -Prepare panel hardware according to the blueprint -Remove concrete from the wood holders -Uses drill presses, chop saws, hand drills, post-tension jack, screw guns, and grinder -Ensure the hardware list is complete for the panels -Keep track of lifter/foam quantities -Clean and prepare lifter cups and lifters -Operate forklift to deliver plates -Set chucks on/cut post-tension cables -General cleaning of the hardware department (weeds, garbage, broken pallets) -Cut aircraft cables with a grinder

What You Bring

-Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements. -Read and interpret shop tickets -High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. ?O -Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently. -Have the ability to work as a part of a team and have good communication skills -Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific) -Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently. -Moderate to high risk of safety precautions. -Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific) -Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day. -Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally. -Some rebar or construction experience is preferred. -Moderate to high exposure to production environment.
