The Role

Overview

Lead utility & transmission projects, managing clients, teams, delivery in Mid‑Atlantic/Northeast.

Tasks

-Directly oversee business development efforts, strategically assigning resources, defining client needs, addressing concerns proactively, and managing engineering resources within budget. -Lead and contribute to technical cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and maximizing customer value. -Ensure clear and impactful communication across all internal and external project teams, clients, and stakeholders. -Cultivate and expand client relationships and contracts for intricate, multi-disciplinary Electric and Gas Utility projects. -Establish strong relationships with internal technical and client service teams, as well as within client organizations. -Drive all phases of project execution, encompassing organization, risk mitigation, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial oversight, safety leadership, and comprehensive reporting. -Collaborate on design and construction management programs, actively seeking continuous improvement in process development and execution. -Champion staff development through effective leadership, mentorship, and the support of professional career aspirations.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Proven track record of developing relationships with clients and growing programs. -Bachelor of Science in civil, mechanical, environmental, chemical engineering, or related field. -Professional Engineer (P.E.) License registered in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania, and the ability to obtain reciprocity in all three states within 6 months of starting date. -8 + years of progressive leadership and professional experience with an engineering or utility firm. -5 years of project and client management experience in the Energy market with knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. -Aptitude for supervising, training, developing, and mentoring junior staff. -Effective team leadership and collaboration.
