Tasks

-Responsible for budgeting and staffing for identified local events. -Identify, schedule, and plan event calendar for a team of event marketers in assigned territory. -Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, and manage event marketing team in generating new sales leads. -Travel within the assigned territory as needed. -Assist in distributing event marketing material and equipment set up and tear down. -Assist in the development of timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesiveness and transparency in local market. -Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers and create accountability through established goals and KPIs. -Collaborate with the local Sales Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market. -Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs. -Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment and performs work outside in varying temperatures and climates. -Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events. -Develop and drive event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality. -25%-50% domestic travel required. -Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. -Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing. -Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing and show staff. -Normal office environment and field office/manufacturing/construction environment. -Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first. -Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access). -Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). -Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing. -Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately. -Must have reliable transportation to/from job site to perform job duties. -Experience within event marketing or a related field. -Experience in home improvement event marketing. -Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.” -Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and pre-scheduled events. -Must hold a valid driver’s license. -Previous management position in direct-to-consumer marketing. -Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. -Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion. -Experience with limited/single market budgeting and planning in multiple markets.
