Tasks

-To develop new skills and contribute to world-class projects -Increase market presence into geographies between office locations. Drive growth in the market across all offices to represent a wider portfolio of project types. -Identify a team of Subject Matter Experts who will participate in the Go/No-Go process of significant projects. -Drive revenue growth firmwide by identifying opportunities, optimizing service delivery, and supporting client retention and expansion efforts. -Cultivate strong working relationships with the Executive Leadership Team, local Market Leaders, and appropriate marketing managers. -Create and execute strategies for consistent market clarification. -Provide clear understanding of relevant skills and expertise needed for success in the Healthcare Market. -Participation in community service and outreach occasions supporting local and national organizations -Celebrate cross-office collaboration, clarifying scope, fees and resources. -Identify opportunities for research and innovation. -Establish guidelines for healthcare projects that we will or will not pursue. -Participate in meaningful collaboration and research efforts

What You Bring

This position is responsible for guiding the firm's strategic direction, growth, and reputation within the healthcare market. Qualified applicants possess an accredited professional Bachelor or Master’s degree in architecture as well as an active architecture license; a progressive work history with 15+ years of experience leading design projects with significant client and community interface. A cover letter and resume exemplifying your significant contribution to the healthcare market (publications, speaking engagements, project leadership, etc.) are required. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Practice Leader who will help foster existing relationships and build new relationships to advance our expertise in this influential practice. This position is centered around passion and knowledge of Healthcare, supporting research and development, strategically developing internal teams, financial planning of projects, being a creative thinker and visionary, familiarity with construction cost trends, and ability to craft an intentional business development and strategic plan. As such, you will play an integral part in overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm’s strategic priorities. This position reports to the Chief Practice Officer. -Expertise within the healthcare market to drive growth and development. -Innovative approach to leading research and development strategies for healthcare design. -Ability to develop and grow relationships across the healthcare market, lead market strategy, and represent the firm at industry events. -Proven industry leader and expert within the healthcare market. -Strong understanding of the driving forces and issues facing clients in the healthcare market. -LEED accreditation or interest in achieving accreditation is preferred.
